Amazon Receiving Quantity
Amazon receiving quantity is different from the quantity shown in dashboard.
On some occasions, Amazon may check in an incorrect quantity of products. In the steps listed out below, we detail or outbound process to help you understand the steps your products go through in our warehouse to ensure that all quantities are correct before being shipped out.
Packages are received and sorted by the client name.
Once we are ready to process your account, each box is sorted by your 4-digit inbound code.
Your packages tracking numbers are then scanned into the corresponding inbound shipment.
Products are then checked into your inbound shipment. Items are also prepped and labeled at this stage of the process.
Once all packages have been received and prepped for the day, the same associate creates your Amazon shipment.
Next, a second associate begins to pack your outbound shipment.
Each item FNSKU is scanned individually and placed into your shipping box.
This step ensures that there were no miscounts by Associate 1 during the receiving/prep process.
Once all items have been scanned in, the boxes are then taped up and the shipping label is purchased.
Packages are picked up daily by UPS.
As you can see in steps 5-7, two associates work on each shipment to ensure a higher prep accuracy. Also, each FNSKU is required to be scanned into each shipping box prior to your items being shipped to Amazon.
We would suggest reaching out for more information regarding this issue. I hope this information is helpful.
Best,
Jake
